November 26th was the official Tree Lighting Ceremony by the City of Palm Coast. Crowds of people gathered to witness the large tree light up with Santa and Vice Mayor Eddie Barnquinho at the switch.

Sheriff Staly attended the event and visited with residents as the were gathered around awaiting the official lighting. He was even spotted at the FCSO light display.

The children cheered Santa as he arrived shortly after 6pm on a fire truck. Once the tree was officially lit, Santa moved over to a small decorated area of the park to allow for photos with Santa. The Rotary Club of Flagler County does a fabulous job with the fantasy light festival every year.  Displays of all kinds, both funny traditional line the path around Central Park.

The display is up and running every evening from now until December 30th. Head on down to view the lights, snag photos at the large Christmas tree and enjoy the beautiful Florida style holiday season. The rotary club has a donation box on site for those who feel so inclined.
