“Schedules vary, which can be a little confusing,” said County Administrator Heidi Petito said. “We don’t want anyone to be disappointed because they showed up when we are closed – or waited for service when they could have come and taken care of business.”

“December 30th is the last day of the year for mobile home registrations and commercial heavy truck registrations,” said Tax Collector Suzanne Johnston. “Our office processes ‘Heavy Use Tax’ on behalf of the IRS. The Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles will be closed that day, but our office will be open. We may not be able to help you if your transactions require assistance from the state help desk, or if the state computer systems experiences problems.”
