February 17th, 2023, a vehicle fled from an FCSO trafiic stop in the Mondex. The occupants fled on foot in the woods. The passenger surrendered quickly without any issues. The driver, who was identified as Jacob Bryan, had an active felony warrant for his arrest. After hours of search, including search by the Flagler County Fire Rescue Fireflight, Bryan was not able to be located.
On March 3rd, FCSO PACE Unit went to Lake county, a residence in Astor, on a credible tip. FCSO PACE Unit teamed up with Lake county Sherifff’s Office Fugitive Unit, Byran was located and arrested. He is being held at the Lake County Jail with no bond.
Byran’s criminal history includes Trafficking Methamphetamine (28 grams – 200 grams), Possession of Fentanyl, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
“Another poison peddler thought that he could run from the law into another county,” said Sheriff Rick Staly. “Too bad for him, our Florida Sheriff’s Offices work together just as we did in this case to locate him. Thank you to the Lake County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance.”
