The AARP Foundation Tax Aide is currently search and recruiting volunteers to join their team. They are looking for compassionate and friendly people who will be helping those in need. The Foundation will provide training and support to help the volunteers learn all the necessary skills for the role.
The program is looking for a number of different volunteers to help provide assistance to taxpayers. Volunteers range from college aged to retirees.
The Foundation is looking for people to fill a variety of roles, including but not limited to: Counselors to help taxpayers with the filling out of tax returns. They will get you IRS certified. Client Facilitators who will help organize the flow of service. Scheduling and appointment support. Leadership and Administration to help manage the operations, volunteers and quality control. Communications Coordinators to help promote the program. There is also a need for bilingual speakers in all of the roles.
