This morning, Sunday September 24th, at 9am, Live Like Cameron held their 6th annual Warriors 5k. This 5k helps raise funds for the organization. Live Like Cameron is a local non-profit that helps Flagler County families who have children fighting cancer. Before the run started, there was a brief opening ceremony.

The ceremony started off with the FPC band and cheerleaders, who were there to support the local families and the cause. Following the band, there was a moment of silence for the those in attendance, to recognize the warrior angels who are no longer here to fight their battles. Among those remembered where Cameron, Conner, Casey, and Nicole.

The ceremony continued by talking about all of the survivors that are now living their lives. These survivors were called up by name where they were greeted with an award and a smile from Melissa Fulling, the founder of Live Like Cameron.

Among those in attendance were BOCC Commissioner Andy Dance, Flagler County Fire Rescue Chief Mike Tucker, Superheroes for a Cause, along with many other supporters. Many of those running were dressed in their best superhero costumes, which the survivors would later vote on.
