The City of Bunnell Police Department, the City of Bunnell, Flagler County, the City of Palm Coast, Town of Marineland, are excited to announce the highly-anticipated Veterans Day Parade, on Saturday November 11th at 10am. The event will be bringing together communities from all over the county to honor our brave veterans while expressing gratitude for the service and sacrifice.

The route will be less than a mile in length, starting at the Bunnell Coquina City Hall and ending at the Government Service Building.

The event this year is geared towards the encouragement of veteran participation in the parade. Veterans from all branches of the military are invited to join in the parade. The idea is to help connect veterans with their community and facilitate them sharing their stories with grateful audiences.

The official website, flaglerveteransdayparade.com, contains all the necessary information for those looking to get involved with the parade. It also contains information and updates on the route, parking and other necessary information for attendees. Floats, walkers and riders are welcomed in the parade, and sponsorships are also available to help get the event off the ground and cover the basic startup costs associated with advertising and other logistics.

The parade is the beginning of the Veterans Day festivities. Following the parade the Flagler County Government will host their annual Veterans Day Ceremony at the Government Services Building. The ceremony will include speeches, music, and a solemn wreath laying to honor those who have given so much for our freedoms. There will be lunch provided to the veterans following the ceremony.

Bunnell Chief of Police, David Brannon said,  “Veterans Day is an opportunity for all of us to come together in a show of respect and appreciation for the brave men and women who served our country. We are honored to host this parade and ceremony, and we invite everyone to join us in this meaningful celebration.”
