Motto Mortgage is announcing their first annual Gold Classic Fundraiser, “Swing Against Hunger” which will help raise funds to battle against food insecurity in Flagler County. The tournament will be held at Grand Haven Golf Club, 500 Riverfront Dr. Palm Coast, on October 23rd at 12pm.

Registration is $125 per player and includes a Mimosa and Bloody Mary Breakfast at 10am, a shotgun start at 12pm and a dinner reception.

The Mission Against Hunger initiative was born out of the commitment that Motto Mortgage has to the well being of the communities they serve. They recognize that people’s needs extend beyond home loans and their goal is to bring hope and sustenance to those facing food insecurities. In Flagler County alone, 10% of the population, roughly 11,410 individuals struggle with food insecurity.

“We are driven by a shared commitment to alleviating hunger in our community. ‘Swing Against Hunger’ is not just a golf tournament; it’s a collective effort to make a tangible impact on the lives of those facing food insecurity,” says Pam Capella, Organizer and Representative of Motto Mortgage.

Participants and supporters alike can make a difference in this fight against hunger by sponsoring or playing in the tournament. Donations of money or non-perishable food items are welcomed and appreciated. Local businesses can contribute by donating raffle items or volunteering during the event.

There will be prizes for the spookiest golf attire worn during the tournament. Participants are encouraged to embrace the Halloween Season and add festivities to their golf ensembles.
