For the sixth consecutive year, the City of Palm Coast Budget Procurement Office was awarded the Excellence in Public Procurement Award for 2024 by the Florida Association of Budget Procurement Officials (FAPPO).
 
The award was established to recognize organizational excellence in procurement and honors agencies that meet or exceed benchmarks and best practices in the profession. In 2024, the City of Palm Coast was one of just 22 agencies state-wide that received the honor.
 
“Receiving this award for the past six years speaks to the commitment and dedication of this team in serving their community and consistently utilizing their skills at the highest level,” said Helena Alves, Director of the City of Palm Coast’s Financial Services Department.
 
FAPPO was established in 1968 and is an organization focused on, and driven towards education professional development, and agency collaboration and cooperation through networking. Its membership currently includes over 1,000 public procurement professionals across 300 agencies throughout the State of Florida.
