The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a felon after an assault at the Shell gas station at 5 Old Kings Road in Palm Coast on June 21, 2024. The community is asked to be on the lookout for Jebea Sincere Johnson, 21, of Palm Coast. He is a black male, 5’9”, 160 lbs. He is considered armed and dangerous. Do not approach but call your local law enforcement Agency if you know where Johnson is.

Early morning on Friday, June 21, the suspect entered the Shell gas station on Old Kings Road in Palm Coast and brandished a firearm and pistol whipped the clerk several times, causing significant injuries. Johnson then demanded the clerk pre-charge the gas pump for $30 of fuel. After the clerk initially refused, the suspect threatened to kill him. The pump was then activated but the fuel was never pumped.

Through surveillance footage of the incident and using investigative techniques, FCSO’s Real Time Crime Center identified the suspect vehicle as a white 2009 Honda Accord registered to Johnson. Johnson was also recognized by deputies as the suspect.  FCSO Major Case detectives responded and obtained a warrant for arrest for the following charges: Burglary with an Assault or Battery, Burglary While Armed, Aggravated Assault (Deadly Weapon), Aggravated Battery, Possession of Firearm by Convicted in State Felon, Attempted Robbery with a Firearm.

“This is an armed and dangerous fugitive that we need to get off the street before he can hurt anyone else,” said Sheriff Rick Staly.  “If you see him, do not approach him. Instead, contact the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office by calling 911 or 386-313-4911 or your local law enforcement Agency. You can also send an email to TIPS@FlaglerSheriff.com or call CrimeStoppers of Northeast Florida at 888-277-TIPS where you could be eligible for an award up to $5,000.”
