The City of Palm Coast invites residents and visitors to explore the latest addition to the StoryWalk® at Linear Park, available throughout September as part of the city’s 25th Anniversary celebration. Walk through the park and follow Parker the Pelican on a fascinating journey through Palm Coast’s rich history, showcasing the city’s remarkable transformation.
This interactive and educational experience is perfect for all ages, offering a fun way to learn about Palm Coast’s achievements while enjoying the scenic beauty of Linear Park. Since its launch in January 2024, the StoryWalk® has quickly become a popular spot for families and nature lovers, blending the joy of reading with outdoor activity.
“This is a fantastic way for families and individuals of all ages to enjoy the outdoors while learning more about our city’s unique history. We’re proud to offer these unique kinds of experiences that blend education with recreation,” said Parks and Recreation Director James Hirst.
Visit the StoryWalk® featuring Parker the Pelican daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. during September. This is just one of many exciting events planned to celebrate Palm Coast’s 25th Anniversary, including the Senior Games, the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony, the Starlight Parade, and the Palm Coast 25th Anniversary Celebration on October 26th at Central Park.
