Beginning today, October 18, 2024, residents visiting the Indian Trails Sports Complex will notice a new traffic pattern designed to improve safety and traffic flow. The main entrance to the complex will remain the same, serving as the only entry point. However, all traffic exiting the complex will now be routed past the baseball fields and near Parkview Church.
This change is part of a partnership with the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) to ensure a safer experience for drivers and pedestrians. New signage was installed earlier this week to give residents advance notice of the changes.
Parks and Recreation Director James Hirst thanked residents for their cooperation: “We want to express our gratitude to everyone for their patience and understanding as we adjust to the new traffic patterns. The safety of our residents is our top priority, and we are confident these changes will enhance safety and accessibility at the Indian Trails Sports Complex.”
Please be mindful of the new traffic directions and drive safely as we all adapt to the updated routes. You can watch a video explaining the traffic pattern here.
