On Monday, October 21, The Southern Recreation Center came alive with spooky excitement as families and their furry companions gathered for a fun-filled evening of trick-or-treating and costume contests. The event, sponsored by Redefined Food Co., drew a fantastic crowd of kids and pets alike, all dressed to impress in their most creative costumes.
The trick-or-treat trail was a highlight, with little ghouls and goblins making their way through the center, stopping at candy stations, and filling their bags with sweet treats. Laughter and joy filled the air as families embraced the festive spirit, with parents joining in on the fun, dressed in their own Halloween attire.
The costume contests were a major hit, with two categories: kids and pets. The judges were blown away by the clever and unique outfits that graced the stage. From pint-sized superheroes and princesses to four-legged creatures decked out as everything from pumpkins to superheroes, the creativity on display was remarkable.
Congratulations to the winners in both the kids and pet costume contests!
