Flagler County Housing Services, through the State Housing Initiatives Partnership (SHIP), has available disaster assistance for Hurricane Milton damages to income-eligible homeowners. This does not include assistance for recovering lost food costs.

Applications must be submitted during the “active disaster declaration period,” and there is a December 6, 2024, deadline.

“We are pleased this money is available to help Flagler County residents for the disaster damage they suffered during Hurricane Milton,” said Housing Program Manager Devrie Paradowski. “The stories of the damages to people’s homes are heartbreaking. While we wish we had funding to cover other losses, like food, we sadly don’t.”
