The Palm Coast Fire Department Station 21 held its 23rd annual Hall of Terrors haunted house with the theme of “Greatest Slashers.” The haunted house featured characters from horror hits over the last 50 years. Over 5,000 visitors visited the Hall of Terrors on October 30th and 31st. The event grows every year, with more and more visitors coming to visit Station 21’s famous haunted house.
“We love how this event continues to grow each year. We’re grateful for the community’s support and the efforts of everyone involved in delivering such a thrilling experience. We look forward to continuing this incredible tradition for many years to come,” Chief Berryhill said.
This year, the fire department added a sensory option where guests with epilepsy or other medical disabilities could participate in the terrifying experience. The sensory option was available from 6-7 pm for those who wouldn’t be able to typically participate in the haunted house due to the strobe lights and special effects or for those who wanted a less terrifying experience.
The Hall of Terrors featured characters and scenes from iconic movies such as Scream, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Psycho, Terrifier, Nightmare on Elm Street, Child’s Play, and Friday the 13th.
