Early in the morning on February 4, the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit and SWAT team served a narcotics-related search warrant at 34 Woodhollow Lane in Palm Coast.
This residence was placed on the Sheriff’s High-Interest Target list in response to numerous community complaints regarding suspected drug activity, disturbances, and suspicious persons. The search warrant was the culmination of a three-month investigation into drug activity at the residence.
When the SWAT team arrived, they ordered the occupants of the residence to exit. Four occupants exited voluntarily. Two occupants did not exit voluntarily, requiring deputies to make entry to secure and remove them from the residence.
Once the residence was cleared, SIU detectives served the search warrant. During the search, detectives seized fentanyl, methamphetamine, marijuana, and other controlled substances.
Based on the results of the search warrant, five individuals were arrested and transported to the Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention Facility.
Brittany Cowart was arrested for Possession of Fentanyl, Possession of Methamphetamine, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She is being held on a $1,000 bond.
Franklin Crawley Jr. was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Marijuana (Over 20 Grams), and Possession of a Controlled Substance without a Prescription. He is being held on a $5,000 bond.
Christopher Distefano was arrested for Obstruction without Violence. He is being held on a $500 bond.
Bridgett Dubena was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Obstruction without Violence. Dubena was also found to have a civil arrest order and was additionally arrested for Contempt of Court. She is being held without bond.
Josiah Feimster was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Controlled Substance without a Prescription, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He is being held without bond.
“I want to thank the community members who ‘saw something and said something’, putting this smorgasbord drug house on our radar and helping us shut it down,” said Sheriff Rick Staly. “Poison peddlers and drug users may think they are being discreet, but their drug activity never goes unnoticed, and it is only a matter of time before our SWAT team and SIU arrive to shut down their business and put them in the Green Roof Inn.”
