No fooling. The Florida Department of Health-Flagler and Flagler County are bringing together many resources for the “Maternal & Child Health Fair” that will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. April 1 at the Hidden Trails Community Center, 6108 Mahogany Boulevard, Bunnell.

Free developmental, hearing, and visual screenings will be provided. The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office will be giving away, and fitting children, with free bicycle helmets.

Organizations that will also be represented include: Tobacco Free Florida; WIC (Women, Infants, and Child); Volusia, Flagler, Putnam, and St. Johns “Help Me Grow” Florida; Healthy Start; Flagler Free Clinic; Flagler & Volusia Early Learning Coalition; Maternal Matters Favored; Flagler County Sheriff’s Office; Flagler OARS (Open Arms Recovery Services); Flagler County Fire Rescue; SMA Healthcare; and, Flagler Cares.

Flagler Cares will assist with SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) and Medicaid.
