The City of Flagler Beach is celebrating its centennial anniversary, beginning with a birthday party on April 16, the same date of its incorporation as a Town. Mayor Patti King is leading a committee to develop and host a series of celebratory events throughout the year.
“April 16, 2025, is a huge milestone for Flagler Beach. It’s the day we celebrate turning 100 years old. I hope you will come join us—city staff, residents, and lovers of Flagler Beach—in celebrating our first hundred years,” Mayor King shared. “We look forward to seeing you on this date and the many other celebrations we have scheduled throughout the year.”
On Wednesday, April 16, 2025, the Flagler Beach Historical Museum, in partnership with the City of Flagler Beach, will co-host the Birthday and Block Party on S. 2nd Street and S. Central Avenue from 4 PM to 7 PM, celebrating 100 years. Enjoy live music from DJ Vern, light bites from Crave’s Coastal Kitchen, and a cake-cutting at 6 PM. Join the Rotary Club of Flagler Beach in forming a “100” on the beach at 5 PM, north of the Pier, to celebrate Flagler Beach’s Birthday.
The rest of the year’s events will be just as exciting, with an Ice Cream Social at the Flagler Woman’s Club on May 24, a Centennial Community Dinner on June 14, and the 4th of July Rotary Parade Blast and Picnic in the Park, to name a few.
The City invites residents and visitors to join the celebration—either as attendees, volunteers, or sponsors. Learn more and stay up to date on the City’s Centennial webpage on the City’s website.
