The Flagler County Board of County Commissioners meeting on April 21st, 2025, covered several important topics and proclamations.

The board discussed and approved the design-build contract for Fire Station 51, including concerns about the sheriff’s substation space and expansion possibilities. They also discussed the Bull Creek Campground kitchen project. The board approved the shipping container kitchen project for Bull Creek Campground with a not-to-exceed amount of $500,000, discussing the design and state funding aspects. There was extended discussion about beach funding options, with Commissioner Pennington expressing concerns about the proposed half-cent sales tax and requesting alternative funding approaches.
