Flagler County Parks and Recreation announced Thursday that the single tennis court within Wadsworth Park is closed until further notice as it is being transformed into four pickleball courts. The remainder of the park – including two other tennis courts – is open.
“Transforming our tennis court into four new pickleball courts at Wadsworth Park marks an exciting upgrade eagerly anticipated by our vibrant pickleball community,” said Mike Dickson, Flagler County’s General Services Director overseeing Parks and Recreation. “We apologize for any inconvenience during this transition and look forward to unveiling these new facilities soon.”
The area will reopen as pickleball courts once the work has been completed.
