Toney, the owner of Scoops and Subs and Toney’s Barbershop here in Palm Coast, held the 2nd annual back-to-school bash Sunday, August 9th, 2024, in St. Joes Plaza. The event featured free ice cream, free haircuts, music, backpack giveaways, bounce houses, and more.

Toney held his first back-to-school bash last year, deciding to hold it again this year. Toney has repeatedly stated that giving back to the community is incredibly important to him, and he plans to continue doing it. Those who showed up between the hours of 12pm and 2pm were able to receive free haircuts before the first day of school. The first 50 people to show up also received free ice cream from Scoops and Subs.

Cathy Hieghter, a Palm Coast City Council member, also attended this event to represent her organization, Remembering Heroes.
