Flagler County officials are advising residents that the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) has announced it will have nighttime double-lane closures on Interstate 95 between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. the following morning each night beginning tonight (Thursday, November 14) and Monday (November 18).
The closures will take place in the northbound lanes near the Weigh Station, mile markers 285 and 286 north of State Road 100, and in the southbound lanes near the State Road 100 interchange. The closures are necessary to allow crews to make repairs to the interstate.
Motorists should expect delays, according to the FDOT release, and are asked to follow posted speed limits and directional signage, avoid distractions, and pay close attention when driving through the construction zone.
The work schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.
