Be a Santa to a Senior is a yearly event hosted by HomeInstead, this yearly event is hosted by the Flagler County Department of Health and Social Services. Each year, King Risk Partners, Walgreens, and Parkside Realty, all host trees with names of seniors who are part of the Meals on Wheels program, and would normally be alone for the holidays. Residents can take names off the trees, which also have a gift idea, to purchase gifts for seniors in the county. Each tree location also has a Dropbox for gifts that have been purchased.

You can find the Santa to a Senior tree in all three Walgreens, the Parkside Realty office, and King Risk Partners Insurance.

The cut-off for dropping presents in the dropbox is December 17th, to allow for the Department of Health and Social Services the time needed to pick up and wrap all of the gifts before the Seniors’ holiday party at Church on the Rocks on December 20th.
