Flagler County officials are advising residents that the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) has announced it will have nighttime closures on Interstate 95 (I-95) interchanges at Palm Coast Parkway and Matanzas Woods Parkway between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. the following morning each night beginning Tuesday night (December 17).
The closures are needed for striping and wrong-way detection system testing, according to the FDOT news release.
The anticipated FDOT schedule is as follows:
- The I-95 northbound off-ramp to Palm Coast Parkway will be closed overnight from 11 p.m. on Tuesday, December 17, to 5 a.m. on Wednesday, December 18.
- Detour information: Motorists traveling north on I-95 needing to access Palm Coast Parkway should take Exit 284 at State Road 100 (Moody Boulevard) to head east. Turn left onto Old Kings Road and continue north to Palm Coast Parkway.
- The I-95 southbound off-ramp to Palm Coast Parkway will be closed overnight from 11 p.m. Wednesday, December 18, to 5 a.m. on Thursday, December 19.
- Detour information: Motorists traveling south on I-95 needing to access Palm Coast Parkway should take Exit 293 at Matanzas Woods Parkway to head east, turn right onto Old Kings Road, and continue south to Palm Coast Parkway.
- The I-95 northbound off-ramp to Matanzas Woods Parkway will be closed overnight from 11 p.m. Thursday, December 19, to 5 a.m. on Friday, December 20.
- Detour information: Motorists traveling north on I-95 needing to access Matanzas Woods Parkway should take Exit 289 at Palm Coast Parkway to head east. Turn left on Old Kings Road and continue north to Matanzas Woods Parkway.
- The I-95 southbound off-ramp to Matanzas Woods Parkway will be closed overnight from 11 p.m. on Sunday, December 22, to 5 a.m. on Monday, December 23.
- Detour information: Motorists traveling south on I-95 needing to access Matanzas Woods Parkway should continue south to exit at Palm Coast Parkway (Exit 289) and head east. Turn left on Old Kings Road and continue north to Matanzas Woods Parkway.
