Patrick Young, a Palm Coast resident, has been writing books for three years, and drew his inspiration from his brother-in-law who is also an author. Patrick is a Navy Veteran, having served for 24 years. Writing has been and continues to be a hobby, with 6 books under his belt. He has one series, which consists of four books.
Patrick Young has spent more than just his time writing books. When he decided to write his stories, he went to book clubs and writing clubs in Flagler County to learn how to write better. His wife is the first one to read his work, and then he has tutors, Kathy and Jill, who work with him to improve his books as he writes them. He has a full list of beta readers that read his work and then give it back with notes. He has beta readers throughout the county, from friends he knows around the county to participants in some of the book clubs and writing clubs. Patrick Young also designs his book covers for all of his books, either with the use of AI or by cutting out magazines in a collage form.
