The Flagler County Historical Society has announced a new event, Bunnell History Day, to be held on June 7th, 2025, which happens to also be the 141st anniversary of the City of Bunnell. Flagler County Historical Society is the oldest historical society in Flagler County, and this summer they will be celebrating the history and the future of Bunnell, the oldest city in Flagler County.

Elaine Studnicki told us the main concept behind this event is to “Celebrate all cities in Flagler County”, and continued explaining that by celebrating and remembering the history of the city, it is bringing positivity and helping to build a vibrant future for Bunnell. Bunnell History Day will be an annual event.

The event will consist of activities for all ages and interests. The event will feature speakers, re-enacters, demonstrations, tours, kids fun zone, beer and wine tent, and so much more. There will be many activities available for the community to enjoy during this event. The tours will include tours of the old city hall, Holden House, and the Little Red School. The event will be at Edward Johnson Park in Bunnell, from 10 am to 3 pm, on June 7th. There will be a timeline of events for the public, as the event date gets closer.
