AdventHealth’s annual sports physicals event for Flagler Schools will be May 21 and 22 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Flagler Palm Coast High School, 5500 East Highway 100, Palm Coast.

Four smiling people stand behind a table covered with an AdventHealth tablecloth, displaying giveaways like wristbands and glasses, inside a gym with “Home of the Bulldogs” signage in the background A woman and a girl receive information and items from three smiling booth attendants at a community event in a gymnasium Pamphlets, lanyards, and promotional materials are displayed on the table

Open to Flagler County public school student-athletes, JROTC cadets, fire academy students, and band members, the event offers an easy and accessible way for students to receive their required physicals ahead of the new school year.

Each student will also receive a free ECG heart screening, which can detect potentially life-threatening cardiac conditions. Sudden cardiac arrest remains one of the leading causes of death among high school athletes.

Students need to pre-register at www.FSSportsPhysicals.com.

These sports physicals are part of a longstanding community effort by AdventHealth to support the health and safety of student-athletes across the region.

Last year, 500 volunteers helped AdventHealth perform nearly 1,800 free sports physicals for students in Flagler and Volusia counties, many of whom were in Flagler County.

AdventHealth’s formal partnership with Flagler Schools began in 2021 and represents a $750,000 commitment from the healthcare organization to bolster student mental health, provide care for student-athletes, and establish more career pathways for graduates.
