UPDATE: The Tie-in testing and boil water notice for Flagler Beach residents is LIFTED. The Tie-in testing is going to be rescheduled. There will be NO boil water notice for Flagler Beach city residents this coming week.
Residents of Flagler Beach, living on South Oceanshore Blvd, South Central Ave, South Daytona Ave, and South Flagler Ave, between 12th and 17th street, were told there was a precautionary boil water notice for their area, issued to the Flagler Beach website, on February 10th. It was updated today with additional information.
There will be a water interruption, and a boil water notice for the streets mentioned above, due to a tie end into the water main. These areas will be under the boil water notice starting Monday February 13th at 9:00am and it will be in effect until February 17th. There will be tie-in testing on Monday the 13th, and Tuesday the 14th which will interrupt water service in the area. Because of the water interruption residents will be asked to boil their water starting on Monday the 13th, until Friday the 17th, unless the notice is extended.
