The sixth annual Addressing Crime Together community meeting is set to be held this Thursday, April 6th at 2pm. This is an in person event, but it will also be live streamed via the FCSO’s Facebook page. This event will be held at the FCSO Operation Center, at 61 Sheriff EW Johnston Way, in Bunnell Florida.

The Sheriff will be addressing things like the crime trends in Flagler County, as well as issues like public safety and the initiatives the Sheriff’s Office is taking to improve in those areas. The Sheriff will also be discussing the agency plans for this year.

“The A.C.T. meeting is held annually to enable us to really connect with the community and get instant feedback and for transparency. I’m proud to say we have an incredible team and partnership with our community,” Sheriff Rick Staly said. “Since I became your Sheriff, there’s been a total crime reduction of 54% as we’ve implemented new initiatives to aid in keeping our community safe. Not only has our team done a phenomenal job, but the community has rallied around us and embraced the guardianship policing philosophy and partnered with us to be the eyes and ears in our neighborhoods and business community. An engaged community is an informed and safer community so please join us on Thursday. You can even tour the museum and see the history of the Sheriff’s Office since 1917 on display in the public areas of the Operations Center. I look forward to seeing you on Thursday.”
