We talked to Lauren to ask her thoughts on her Grand Opening event, being a woman entrepreneur, and how the business community has welcomed her. “I’m extremely excited. I never thought in my life I’d have a Grand Opening, so I’m so excited I have so many supporters here in Flagler County; family, friends, and all of the groups I am involved in. I am just very very excited, I have chills just thinking about it. I feel that with everyone that I’ve met so far, especially in Flagler County, the need of what I’ve been hearing; I feel like I am able to fulfill the need. If it’s something I haven’t thought of,  someone’s asking ‘Hey can you do this?’ And I can say, ‘Yes, I can do that!’ It makes me happy that as a female, I feel proud, I feel powerful and strong and excited to just help everybody. I feel that there is nothing like what I do in Flagler County. I started this because there was nowhere to go locally on the fly for medical training, such as CPR, which is the most critical training you can have, and you need it. It’s mandatory for many roles in this community and many people were driving to Jacksonville or Orlando or they were paying someone to drive from Jacksonville or Orlando to Flagler County to teach a class. So I opened this business so I can teach a class on the fly I can do that same day if I have availability. No one has to go anywhere, you can stay local, support a local small business. Everyone has been so awesome and welcoming.”
